Hello,

To support our AI Center of Enablement (AI CoE), we are looking for an experienced Generative AI Engineer / AI Consultant to support the RAISE project (AI-supported software development company-wide) and other strategic AI initiatives.
Project:

Start: ASAP
Duration: Initial contract until the end of the year (high chance of extension afterwards)
Employment type: Freelance
Capacity: Up to 4 days per week
Location: Hybrid working – 3 days/week on-site in Vienna
Project languages: English (Fluent), German (Fluent)

Profile:

Strong software engineering
Excellent Python development skills.
Proven practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs and Azure OpenAI (or comparable platforms).
Solid expertise in RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), AI agents and cloud-based integrations.
Experience in building and deploying production-ready AI solutions in enterprise environments.
Knowledge of modern AI frameworks and technologies, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LangGraph, Microsoft 365 Copilot and LLMOps.
Strong hands-on mentality with a results-oriented approach.

Tasks:

Development of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for innovative Generative AI use cases.
Design, development and deployment of AI-powered solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Azure OpenAI.
Development and implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and AI agents.
Creation of reusable AI components and frameworks for enterprise-wide deployment.
Integration of AI solutions into existing enterprise applications, cloud platforms and business processes.
Ensuring compliance with Responsible AI, security and governance.
Collaboration with stakeholders, software developers and architects to industrialize and scale AI solutions across the entire company.
