A company in Austria is looking for two experienced SAP BW/4HANA consultants with sound SAP IS U know-how for a demanding data and reporting project in the utilities sector.

Start: October 2026
Duration: Until March 2027, followed by three months of hypercare until June 2027
Remote/On-Site: Hybrid; predominantly remote, occasional on-site presence in Austria required.
Occupancy: Approximately 50% each in October and November 2026, reduced in December, then again approximately 50% from January to March 2027; thereafter approximately 1 day per week during the hypercare phase

YOUR CHALLENGE

Conception and further development of SAP BW/4HANA data models in the utilities context
Integration and harmonization of SAP IS-U data into the BW/4HANA environment
Development and optimization of SAP HANA calculation views
Analysis of existing reporting and data structures as well as identification of optimization potential.
Implementation of energy industry reporting requirements in collaboration with the specialist departments.
Ensuring data quality, performance, and consistent data flows
Support with testing, error analysis and technical acceptance
Support during the go-live phase and structured handover into the three-month hypercare phase
Creation of technical documentation and implementation of knowledge transfer to internal teams

YOUR TALENTS

Must-Have

At least 3-5 years of experience as an SAP BW/4HANA Consultant
Solid practical know-how in SAP IS-U
Excellent knowledge of SAP HANA, especially in the development of calculation views.
Demonstrable project experience in the utilities or energy supply industry
Experience in the integration, modeling, and optimization of SAP data structures
Fluent German, both spoken and written, and excellent communication skills.
Willingness to attend occasional on-site meetings in Austria
