Project description
Databricks / Microsoft Fabric / Power BI — Reporting Migration & Operations
1. Project Overview
The client is moving forward with the migration of their reporting to Microsoft Fabric (Databricks, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric). The existing operations team is well-established but requires additional capacity for other topics.
Current challenges from the customer's perspective: Ticketing reports are unreliable and generate recurring error messages; the target architecture is not yet fully established; There is a need for improvement in data governance. We are looking for a Product Owner and one or more Engineers.

3. Role: Engineer
 
Tasks
  • Technical implementation of the reporting migration in Microsoft Fabric
  • Analysis and resolution of malfunctioning ticketing reports (error messages)
  • Participation in the stabilization and further development of the target architecture
  • Implementation of data governance requirements in the Fabric/Databricks environment
  • Setup and maintenance of the FUAM monitoring tool within Fabric
  • Close coordination with the Product Owner and the existing Operations team
Requirements
  • Solid knowledge of Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
  • Proficiency in the FUAM monitoring tool within Fabric or willingness to learn it quickly.
  • Confident handling of the terms data flows and data analysis
  • Solution-oriented technician type with a hands-on mentality
  • Experience in architecture and data governance is desirable.
