• Occupancy: Full-time
• Duration: 18 months, with option to extend
• Location: Austria, Linz region
• Deployment model: Approximately 80% on-site presence at the construction site.

Project environment

Your tasks

Building Management System (BMS)

• Assuming overall professional responsibility for all BMS-relevant aspects of the project.
• Review and approval of BMS architectures, automation concepts and integration strategies.
• Ensuring the seamless integration of all technical trades into the BMS.
• Analysis and validation of function descriptions, control strategies and cause-and-effect matrices.
• Monitoring the correct implementation of alerting, monitoring and reporting functions.
• Active support of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and commissioning.
• Ensuring full operational capability and system functionality before handover.

Power Monitoring System (PMS)

• Overall technical responsibility for the Power Monitoring System (PMS).
• Integration of medium voltage systems, low voltage distribution systems, UPS systems and generator systems.
• Ensuring the precise integration of all energy supply and monitoring systems.
• Monitoring of energy flow, load management and monitoring functions.
• Coordination and alignment between PMS, SCADA, BMS and other higher-level systems.
• Support during the commissioning and acceptance testing of critical energy supply systems.
• Effective interface management between electrical engineering, building services engineering (BSE), heating, air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing (HVAC), commissioning teams and subsequent operation.

Mandatory requirements

• A completed degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, building automation or a comparable technical qualification.
• Several years of relevant professional experience in a leading position such as BMS Lead, PMS Lead, Building Automation Lead or Controls Lead.
• Proven project experience in hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise data centers.
• Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of Power Monitoring Systems (PMS).
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
• Extensive practical experience in construction site and project management.

Mandatory requirement

This project requires an on-site presence of approximately 80% at the construction site in Austria. For project-related, tax, and social security reasons, only companies or self-employed individuals based in Austria, or who provide their services through an Austrian company or as self-employed individuals registered for tax purposes in Austria, can be considered. Applications from companies with their registered office outside of Austria are unfortunately not permitted and constitute a mandatory exclusion criterion for the end client.
